CNC Machinist

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical specifications and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

What you'll be doing when you join our company:

• Run CNC vertical/horizontal mill to produce prototype and small production jobs to completion.
• Experience on DMG Mori or Haas machines is a plus but not required
• Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
• Setup cutting tools per the instructions
• Setup and teardown precision machining fixturing
• Deburr sharp edges of parts after being removed from machine
• Assemble machined parts to run 3rd operation
• Load/Unload parts into CNC machines

 What we need from you to apply:

• Experience in operating CNC machining centers
• Must be able to solve problems that arise while making challenging parts
• Well-versed in the usage and care of precision measurement equipment
• Ability to work with tight tolerances
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and self-motivation
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings

Other needs include:

• Able to troubleshoot with no instruction
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
