Job description

Requirements

• Work from blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Set up, Program and Operate HAAS VMC
• May be required to operate multiple machines.
• Verify conformance of machined work-pieces to specifications using gauges and related measuring devices.
• Inspect own work for correct dimensions.
• Rotate between various department work centers as required.
• Set up and verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required.
• Load and unload component piece parts with weights up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• This position requires the applicant to be a US Citizen or Green card holder.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience demonstrated by proficiency of machine set up and operating.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Previous experience reading and interpreting blue prints and work instructions.
• Ability to record production data on standardized forms. Reports to Manager.
• Moderate physical demand required to set up work centers, inspect workpieces
